සාමාන්‍යන් අපි භාවිත කරන වෙබ් ගවේශක, එහෙම නැත්නම් බ්‍රවෘසර් වල ප්‍රොයිල් එකක් තියෙනව. කලක් භාවිත කරද්දි සමහර වෙලාවට මේක ක්‍රැශ් වෙන්න පුලුවන්. එක්කෝ අප්ග්‍රේඩ් කරද්දි ඉතා කලාතුරකින් වෙන්න පුලුවන්. අද හිතවත් ගුරුමහතෙක් වන ලක්ෂමන් තිලකරත්න සර් මේ කිහිප දෙනෙක්ට ක්‍රෝම් යාවත් කරාට පස්සේ ක්‍රෝම් නිසි ලෙස වැඩ නොකරන බව සඳහන් කළා. ඉතින් ලෙසිම විදිය පරණ ප්‍රොෆයිල් එක (පැතිකඩ) මකල දාන එක. පහත සඳහන් කරලා තියෙන්නේ අදාල මෙහෙයුම් පද්ධතිය අනුව ක්‍රෝම් ප්‍රොෆයිල් එක තිබෙන තැන. Google නව වෙබ් ගවේශකයක් නිකුත් කිරීම Mozilla සඳහා තර්ජනයක්ද? එය අපට දැන්ම කිව නොහැකියි. දැනට පවතින සහයෝගිතාවය මෙම ලිපිය කියවන ඔබට මැනවින් වැටහෙන ඇතැයි මා විශ්වාස කරමි. [නමුත් තර්ජනයක් වනවාද නැද්ද යන්න රදා පවතින්නේ Mozilla ඉදිරියේදි ක්‍රියාත්මක වන ආකාරය අනුවයි] නමුත් මෙය නවතම තාක්‍ෂණික සොයාගැනීම් කරා Mozilla තවත් වෙගත්ව ඉදිරියට යැවීමට පෙළබවීමක් විය හැක. කෙනෙක්ට තරගයේ රැදි සිටිමට නම් තම හැකියාවන් තරගය පුරා තබාගත යුතු වේ. Google විසින් Mozilla මිලදි ගනිවිද? නැත! Google මොසිලා ගැනීම කළ නොහැක්කක්. Mozilla කිසිදු දිනෙක විකිනෙන්නේ නැත. ඇත්තටම Google විසින් Chromw ව්‍යපෘතිය ආරම්භ කළේ මෙම හේතුව නිසයි. ;-) [අපි නොදන්න Live] ලාභ නොලබන ආයතනයක් ලෙස Mozilla ආරම්ඹ කළේ කිසිම ආයතනයකට එය මිලදිගත නොහැකි වීමටයි. Google හි අරමුණ ලාභ ලැබීමයි. එමනිසා එය කිසිසේත්ම Mozilla වෙතට පිවිසෙන්නේ නැත. 1990 දි Netscape ආයතනයට Microsoft වෙතනින් තදබල පහරක් වැදුනා. එවකට Netscape ආයතනයේ සිටි Mitchell Baker සහ Brendan Eich විසින් Mozilla ව්‍යපෘති ඇරඹූයේ Netscape සහ Microsoft අතර ඇති ගැටුමත් මතකයේ තබා ගෙනයි. මෙහිදි ඔවුන් ...
